Labeling

——

Identification systems mainly include instructional signs for defining personnel operational zones and labels/nameplates for product identification. While seemingly simple, identification systems significantly impact actual logistics effectiveness.

Instructional signs are primarily used within factory workshops to demarcate production areas from walkways, potential hazard zones from safe zones, finished products from work-in-progress, etc.; and in warehouses to separate goods areas from forklift aisles and pedestrian walkways, and different goods areas. Currently, tapes using PVC as the base material, compounded with rubber adhesive, are common. They offer excellent initial and lasting adhesion to all surfaces, are heat and corrosion-resistant, non-shrinking, have bright colors for clear identification, and are easy to use.

Product identification typically includes magnetic labels for steel shelving, self-adhesive labels resistant to movement or falling, and barcode labels for computerized information exchange management. Premin can help customers design and produce specific identification systems based on their logistics processes to improve efficiency.
